These opportunities are available on WEEKDAY mornings:

Interviewer (Sack Grocery Program & Clothing Center): Interview clients to determine eligibility to receive groceries and clothing (Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm).

Grocery Packer (Food Pantry): Pack grocery bags with food from a provided list. The number of items varies according to family size (Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm).

Sandwich Maker (Food Pantry): Make sandwiches for the lunches given out to the hungry. Join an established group, or form a group of your friends.

Clothing Center Volunteer: Sort, size and hang up clothes or check-in clients and help them find what they need (Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm).

Bread & Grocery Drivers: Pick up bread &/or day–old bakery items from a grocery store or bakery between 7 am and 9 am on a weekday.

Food Bank Driver: Pick up produce from the Food Bank, between 7:30 am and 2 pm on a weekday.

 
These opportunities are available on WEEKENDS:

Faithful Friends: Help someone in our community who is elderly or disabled to stay independent and connected to others. Deliver groceries from our food pantry (formerly the Third Saturday Grocery Delivery Program) or help with small errands or tasks in the home. (Grocery Delivery on the first Sunday afternoon of the month or the third Saturday morning of the month; other errands and tasks are based on need and your availability.)

Grocery Stocker (Food Pantry): Help stock the pantry by bringing canned goods up from the store room and putting them on shelves as well as bagging bulk items such as laundry detergent, diapers, and certain foods. (Third Saturday morning of each month from 10 am to 12:00 pm. Afternoon hours on the first Sunday of each month may be available, too.)

Clothing Center Volunteer: Sort, size and hang up clothes. (Third Saturday of each month from 10 am to 12:00 pm. Afternoon hours on the first Sunday of each month may be available, too.)

 
More Ways to be Involved…

Fundraising & Support: Support our annual fundraising gala. Participate on a organizational committee, help with set-up, put together a table of your friends to attend, donate items for the silent auction, or make a money contribution.

Leadership: There are opportunities to support the EAC by being a representative of your congregation on our Board or on working committees.
